Temitope Ifegbesan is a seasoned educator and social development professional with a background in Communication and Language Arts. With her expertise in education leadership and exceptional communication skills, her work has spanned teaching, mentoring, and leadership roles across various organisations like Teach For Nigeria and Profuturo. She is passionate about teacher leadership and development and has been opportune to facilitate professional development training for hundreds of school teachers and leaders on 21st-century pedagogy and positive school culture.
Temitope’s commitment to education and continuous learning has earned her numerous accolades. She was recognised as the ‘Best Female Teacher in Professional Development’ at Bloombreed High School, where she previously served as a Year Level Head. Currently, Temitope is a Senior Fellow in the AL for Education Master Teacher Program at African Leadership Academy, where she works as an instructional coach, guiding teacher research and inquiry while providing ongoing professional development support to her teachers. In addition to her work in education, Temitope is passionate about empowering girls through her non-profit organisation, EmpowerHer Initiative, which focuses on funding the education of girls from indigent homes. Temitope enjoys travelling, trying out cuisines, and watching movies in her free time.
