Kudzai began her educational career as a high school teacher facilitating History and Religious Studies. After 20 years in high school classrooms, Kudzai completed a masters degree in Transformative curriculum theories and practices at the University of Zimbabwe while working as a High School Principal.
Kudzai also advanced her teaching career by joining the Master teacher Programme at African Leadership Academy (Johannesburg) where Ric Campbell was the Dean. She advanced the concept of the teacher as a classroom researcher while coaching a cohort of four teachers in Zimbabwe who graduated in 2023.
