Adama Djimera, a dedicated educator from Senegal, is currently pursuing his PhD at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar while serving as the Head of Monitoring and Evaluation at SABS (Senegalese American Bilingual School). His educational journey began as an ESL teacher in private schools, eventually leading him to join SABS in 2012 as an elementary school teacher in the American Program. Over seven years, his commitment and hard work propelled him to the position of Assistant Principal and Coordinator of the American Program at the elementary level.

In his role, Adama focuses on equipping staff with effective teaching strategies to ensure every student’s needs are met. Under his leadership, the American Program at SABS has flourished, with students achieving new levels of success. In 2021, he was selected to collaborate closely with SABS teachers and leaders to enhance continuous professional development through the Teacher Leader Institute led by Ric Campbell. Adama’s vast experience and knowledge contribute significantly to the growth and development of SABS, earning him high regard from the school’s management and staff.
